Music choice

After choosing which music we wanted to use through out our film we decided to go with 'Ludovico Einaudi - 'I Giorni' We thought it would be a good choice as it is not the normal type of music that would be used in a thriller and will help with challenging the codes and conventions with it giving the audience a false sense of security not knowing when the impact of the thrill will come.

Script

These are the scripts that we gave to Bethany our female actress before we started filming so that she had time to read through them and learn them.

What we found out from our research.

This is what we found out from our research, We found that the 16-25 age group preferred films with a female main character which we are using in our film and they also watched thrillers the most out of any age group.

Editing Ident

To make our ident on adobe After Effects we used these steps..

1) We opened after effects and then we opened photoshop and created a blue coloured background that would later be used as the glass. On after effects we then clicked new composition DV pal and imported the photoshop background layer. 

2) Afterwards we dragged the glass image into the comp timeline and and scaled the image up to the size of the background. The next step was to search effects and presets for the shatter effect and drag it onto the glass psd. On view we clicked render and and dropped the shape menu and pattern down.

Questionnaire

These are some of the examples of our questionnaire we handed out to different age groups. We asked them questions such as their age, gender and do they prefer female or males as a main character which is how we came to our conclusion of using bethany as our female main character. 

Feedback.

We gave a presentation in class about our research and planning for our film idea and what we had managed to do so far. This helped to show us what we might need to change and what could make it better. 

We have decided to use Bethany Hunt as our female protagonist and central character Emily. This is because when giving out our questionnaires it became apparent that both males and females either don't like a particular gender or like to have a female as a main character.
